I am looking into purchasing a prefabricated home, not a manufactured or mobile home, the type you can put together yourself. I have briefly researched these types of homes online to get more information. However I still have a couple of questions. How is the plumbing and electric installed? Is that included with the house or is it an added expense and something you have to do on your own?
We are building a house and the builders won’t do tankless waterheaters. Is there a way to put the right plumbing in so we can add them after we close?
My bathroom smells so bad, like a sewer. I used every cleaning chemicals to clean the bathroom, but the odor is still there. I’m positive it’s the plumbing, think the odor mainly comes from the toilet. Any expert advice what it may be?
How does one go about replacing insulation after replacing polybutalene plumbing under a doublewide?
Did not get in on class action suit. Finding leaks constantly. Doublewide built in 1985. 66 ft long, 24 ft.wide. Need to replace plumbing due to increase in water bills.
I can’t find any good diagrams/photos on basement plumbing, below slab. I know about vents, slopes and tying in. I just want to see diagrams. Thanks in advance.
the "snake" goes about 12 feet and stops. the p trap is clear. i opened the plug where the pipe goes under the floor and put in the snake. i atttached a hose to the faucet and put water down to clear out debris dislodged by snake. i then put the sulfuric acid drin opener in but it has not disolved the clog. i repeated the flushing. it must be at and elbow to the rest of the house plumbing. i tried getting to it thru the washer drain but no l uck.
A realtor told this to my fiance on a house. Rather than going ahead and paying an inspector, what does this mean? What does "new plumbing" entail?
We wont be paying much for labor, because my fiancee’s has an uncle who is an electrician, and an uncle who is a plumber. There has already been electricity and plumbing ran to the area, i dont know what its called. Basically there used to be a trailor there, so they needed electricity and plumbing. Now we are building a small cottage house on the land.
Any estimates?
I live in Wisconsin, (US)
I always hear about not flushing toliet paper because it gets caught in the plumbing or something to that effect. Is it really different?
