My husband is Turkish and after the birth of our second child (due in 3weeks) we’re planning on spending the summer (7 months) in Turkey. I am not planning on working. What visa can I apply for? Do I need to sort this out before I go? I’ve heard you can get a boat over to Rhodes, but I don’t fancy this with 2 small children.

I’ve fallen in love with a Turkish man and we want to live in Turkey. Marriage isn’t something we ideally want to rush into. So apart from finding a job prior to arriving does anybody know of anyway to extend the 3 month visa if that isn’t long enough. Also does it mean 3 months out of every 12 or could I come and go and get a 3 month visa everytime I reentered the country? I can support myself financially if that helps? Thanks
